Outspoken legal assistant Ines confessed that she almost quit Married At First Sight Australia.
“When I first saw my bridal makeup, I didn’t want to go to my wedding! I was mortified. I looked the worst,” reveals the 28-year-old, who prefers a natural look. But the makeup wasn’t the only reason the beauty wanted to flee.
“When taking the photographs, I was told my groom was a stripper I was like, ‘Oh my god, no!’ and I wanted to run away. I didn’t want to be there.”
In fact, Ines says she initially thought she wouldn’t get along with her groom, admitting she was quick to judge a book by its cover.
“His shirt was untucked and I didn’t like that,” Ines explains of her first impressions.
“I also thought we’d have nothing in common. Our lives were so different and I was worried he would have no sense of humour. He hardly spoke,” she adds.
So will the couple stand the test of time?
“You’ll have to wait and see,” Ines teases.
“I think viewers will be surprised.”
