On Sunday night’s episode of Married at First Sight, Elizabeth is missing in action at both failing to make the dinner party AND the commitment ceremony.
As a result, her disgruntled husband Sam is stuck doing a solo sit-down with expert John to discuss how the week went.
“I don’t know where she is,” laments Sam. But luckily for the handsome tradie, John is aware of the blonde retail worker’s whereabouts.
“What I can tell you is that she’s been struck down by an illness. She has doctor’s orders to stay away,” he says.
Sam is not impressed with this story.
“It would be nice to hear from her… I mean don’t be a hypocrite,” he says.
The jilted groom also says that he’s not yet sexually attracted to Elizabeth, but wants to stay to at least hear her out. He’s given a look of approval from Cyrell.
However, not long after his moble action, he tells the camera that the real reason he wants to stay is so he can get closer to Ines.
Sam, even goes to the extra effort of wishing his official bride doesn’t plan on returning to the experiment, “I hope she doesn’t come back.”
