Jessika Power and Dan Webb‘s on-screen love affair has shocked Australia and caused a divide between their fellow contestants.

Months after the show’s filming wrapped for Married At First Sight, they’re still putting on a united front, doing interviews and posing for the paparazzi all amid claims that their TV affair and loved-up relationship is completely fake.

And in Dan’s interview – which you can watch below – you can understand why everyone thinks the romance is fake.

Fellow contestant Jules Robinson, who has found love with Cameron Merchant and are now living in their humble abode in Sydney’s Double Bay as revealed by WHO, told E! News that Jessika staged her affair with Dan to stay on the show, after propositioning Nic Jovanovic and being turned down.

“I’m sorry Jess, but if it wasn’t Nic it was going to be someone else. He denied you, so you moved on. That’s the bottom line,” Jules told the publication, revealing she believed their whole relationship to be fake.

“Do I think it’s going to last? No I don’t. Are they together? I have no idea. I’m not friends with them.”

“I think the lust was the real deal, there was definitely attraction, but moving forward in the experiment, right towards the end and out of it – we’re not quite sure. Time will tell on that one,” says Cam.

“They definitely fancied each other, is it deep than that? I don’t think so, revealed Jules.

Speaking to WHO, both Jess and Dan maintain that they are still happily in love, despite break-up and fake love rumours. Dan has even gone as far to say that he hasn’t felt this way about a woman since the mother of his son.

“I haven’t felt strongly about a girl since my split with my ex,” he says. “She was the last person to make me feel amazing.”

But the pair have had issues since being on the show.
