But despite months of preparation for the big day, the reality TV couple were mocked on social media for the endless amount of advertisements of wedding related brands and businesses throughout the ceremony.
And now, 37-year-old Jules has come under fire from social media users for her choice of wedding dress, with many cruelly stating that the baby pink tulle number was “not her best look”.
“Hate to say it but the dress reminded me of one of those toilet paper dolls from years ago,” one person wrote.
“I think she is normally so well dressed but Christ that dress,” another added.
“Beautiful couple but I can’t help thinking I saw that dress someplace before,” another wrote alongside a picture of what looked to be a toilet roll cover doll.
“Not her best look but each to their own,” chimed in another.
“I think her first dress on MAFS was beautiful, this one not so much. Very happy for both of them tho congrats,” one person added.
“Beautiful couple, but disappointed with her dress,” another wrote.
Meanwhile, ex-MAFS star Jessika Power also gave her opinion on the televised wedding, alluding to the fact the whole thing had been for publicity.
“Wish mafs and a current affair paid me 75k to act like a complete twat on tv also. I want my compensation,” she wrote on Instagram Stories.
