Matthew Bennett has made no secret of his lack of experience with the ladies before appearing on Married At First Sight.
And in one of the show’s biggest ever bombshells, the former virgin’s ‘wife’ Lauren Huntriss has confessed that isn’t exactly the case for her.
“I used to be a lesbian,” admitted Lauren on Monday night.
The makeup artist, 31, left Matthew speechless with the revelation during a playful question and answer game as they moved in together.
“I don’t know what to ask now… I really don’t know,” responded a shy Matthew, 29.
“I find asking questions really difficult, so for me the obvious solution was to just say nothing.”
However, his lack of enthusiasm to find out more on Lauren’s sexuality left her upset.
Lauren added: “The fact that I have had feelings and relationships with girls definitely shocked Matt. He wouldn’t talk, he just shut down.”
“I’m not impressed to be honest, he should have a thousand things to ask me.”
