Last night, Married At First Sight fans watched on as Troy Delmege break-up with bride Ashley Irvin as he believed she wasn’t the woman he was searching for.
However, he has now taken to Instagram to share some more intimate details about his time on the show alongside the bubbly blonde.
The 36-year-old shared a few notes (alongside a snap with fellow contestants John and Telv) about his experience on the controversial reality TV show. He also appears to have dissed his bride by claiming: “Nothing I ever did was good enough.”
Plus, Demlege shut down any rumours about his intentions to fall in love on the show.
“I came into the experiment completely committed to finding love and ready to settle down. I gave it everything I had and left nothing on the table.”
This comes after Ashley recently spoke to TV Week, admitting that she realised early on that Troy might not have had a genuine longing to meet a soulmate by joining the show.
“He just wants to be in the media,” she says. “He told my mum and I that he wants to get into TV – so that was a red flag for me.”
Regardless, Delmedge did admit he did have some fond moments with Ashely and finished his post by thanking his loved ones for their support both during the filming of and after the show aired. “Thank you to my family and friends for your continuous love and support. It def wasn’t possible without you guys.”
