With a show as extravagant and wacky as The Masked Singer Australia, the contestants truly need the costumes to match. And this year, the “masks” really made an impact.
A truly creepy vampire, over-the-top dolly and a tasty kebab; these are just some of the masks we’ve been enjoying watching on screen each night. But, which mega-stars are hidden beneath the masks?

While stars like Macy Gray and Vinnie Jones have already been revealed, there are still a few celebrities yet to be unmasked. And with a pretty great voice, we’re dying to know whose beneath the Kebab costume.
Performing renditions of The Middle, Stay With Me and Hot Stuff, the kebab has impressed the judges – who’ve guessed everyone from Kylie Minogue to Hugh Sheridan. But fans have two clear suspects in mind.
One of the most popular guesses so far is Jack Vidgen, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Australia’s Got Talent star.
Fans have noted Jack’s “diva falsetto” as a dead giveaway – with one going so far as to say he’d “eat his shoe” if it’s not Jack behind the mask. Does the 24-year-old star match the clues?
Well, Jack’s Instagram is known to be a bit “saucy” as per one of the clues, while the “cleaned up” clue could refer to winning his $250,000 prize-money from AGT. Plus, the references to “bleaching” could be a hint at his signature platinum blonde hair.
While Jack could very well be the star behind the mask, fans are also keeping an eye on Courtney Act.
The former Ru Paul’s Drag Race star is known for their musical chops, getting a start on Australian Idol and later vying for a spot in Eurovision: Australia Decides.
Courtney (Shane Jenek) would also line up with many of the clues, leading judge Dannii Minogue to guess they were the Kebab in one round.
Plus, when Jackie O asked if the incognito celeb was male or female, they replied: “Here’s what I can say about that: mostly I’m one, but I have been known to be the other.”
While we have our suspicions, we’ll just have to wait and see who’s behind the Kebab mask as the show continues.
