Home And Away fans should be ready to welcome new River Boy, played by Parick O’Connor.
Speaking to The Sunday Telelgraph, the Brisbane based star revealed “This is my first role.”
“Home and Away is obviously known as a launch pad for many actors’ careers. Obviously going into the type of role that this is, being a River Boy and there being a story there already that is so big and well known, it means there is a legacy there to play around with and being a bad boy on the show is exciting.”
The River Boys gang, who is known for their integral and drama-filled storylines, helped carve a stepping stone for other stars like Steve Peacocke, who is now based in Hollywood.
According to the news publication, O’Connor is a Queensland University of Technology acting graduate who has spent the past few years auditioning for roles but finally landed one that is set to send fans into a frenzy.
And while we’re yet to see what his character has in store for us, O’Connor has posted a snap alongside new castmate Sam Frost.
Stay tuned to witness the new and interesting storyline, which will air once the Australian Open ends on Channel 7.
