Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have had a VIP wedding experience, but it appears they’re taking it down a notch for their honeymoon with reports suggesting they’ll holiday in Canada.
According to TMZ, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex wuill head to “Alberta, Canada’s Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for their post-wedding getaway, and will be staying at the 6,000 sq. ft. Outlook Cabin.”
While it is still unclear when the royal couple will arrive at the lodge, TMZ reports “both British and Canadian security will be involved when they do.”
But what makes it so special? It appears to have been frequented by royal and elite guests.
It is believed, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother vacationed in 1939, and Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip stayed there as recently as June 2005.
Other celebrities such as Celebs like Anthony Hopkins, John Travolta and Bill Gates have also enjoyed some relaxation at the lodge.
