WATCH Meghan Markle get told off by Prince Harry at Trooping the Colour:

Making her first public appearance at Trooping the Colour earlier this month since giving birth to son, Archie Harrison, eagle-eyed royal fans were quick to spot the former Suits star’s upgraded ring as she waved to the crowd from her horse-drawn carriage.

The ring originally had a thick, gold band, offset by three diamonds – one which Harry had sourced from Botswana, and two other’s from his late mother, Princess Diana’s personal jewellery collection.

However, Meghan’s ring now has a much thinner, diamond-encrusted micro-pave band.

Harry admitted during a 2017 interview following their engagement announcement that he had designed Meghan’s original ring especially after noting her personal jewellery collection.

“The ring is obviously yellow gold because that’s her favourite and the main stone itself I sourced from Botswana and the little diamonds either side are from my mother’s jewellery collection, to make sure she’s with us on this crazy journey together.”
