Forget flowers and candles, Meghan Markle’s gifts are a little more unusual.
The Duchess of Sussex apparently gave sister-in-law Kate Middleton a dream journal for her birthday when they first met.
Currently, the ‘Fab Four’, Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry and Meghan are said to be involved in a bitter feud, following Harry and Meghan’s decision to move away from the Cambridge’s to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
However, it appears the royal foursome once had a much closer relationship, with the two duchesses exchanging thoughtful gifts at the beginning of their friendship.
According to E Online, Meghan gifted Kate a dream journal for her birthday and also a gold friendship bracelet ahead of her 2018 wedding to Harry.
The news comes as Kate and William visited expectant parents Meghan and Harry on Easter Sunday in an attempt to resolve their ongoing feud.
The showdown, which only lasted half an hour, reportedly saw the foursome enjoy tea together, despite reports the royal brothers are barely talking to each other.
A source told BAZAAR: “They wanted to be supportive and see how she is doing. It was a lovely afternoon.”
ITV Royal editor Chris Ship added this morning that the meeting “didn’t last very long” but said it had been “significant” the couples sat down to talk.
He said: “They brought around some house warming presents. Is that a sign they are trying to patch things up?”
