Just days after rumours started swirling that Prince Harry’s best friend Charlie van Straubenzee is most likely one of baby Archie’s “secret” godparents, Meghan Markle’s long-time makeup artist Daniel Martin has now sparked speculation that he could also be one of the royal baby’s godparents.

The celebrity makeup artist has been friends with Meghan for over a decade, and on Tuesday, New York based Martin uploaded four videos to his Instagram stories of himself enjoying lunch and afternoon tea in London, reports The Daily Mail.
The publication reports that while Martin is usually very active on social media and regularly shares whatever project he’s been working on, the makeup artist hasn’t given any hint as to what he’s in the British capital for, prompting speculation that he may be one of Archie’s godparents.
The talented artist shared videos of himself lunching in London’s exclusive Chelsea, before going on to enjoy afternoon tea at iconic department store, Harrods.

Meghan and Daniel are believed to have first met during her time on Suits. He is also believed to have contributed to her now defunct lifestyle website The Tig, and was the duchess’s chosen makeup artist on her wedding day, attended her New York baby shower and helped her prepare for her first photo call after Archie was born.
Last week the palace released a statement confirming that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had chosen to keep the identities of Archie’s godparents private. The christening was also not open to the public, with only family and “close and old friends” in attendance.
