In a move that is set to break royal protocol, reports are circulating that the Duchess of Sussex is in talks to write a regular column for Vogue magazine.

A source has spoken to the Daily Mail claiming that Meghan Markle is in negation talks with US editor Anna Wintour to pen a monthly column focusing on the royal’s charity endeavours.
According to the mail, the 37-year-old former Suits actress is set to feature in the fashion mags much hyped September issue, with the column set to begin in the following issues in both the US and UK versions of the magazine.
“The spread in Vogue won’t be a superficial photo shoot – on the contrary, she wants to use it as a platform to make a difference,” the source spilled.
“She is working with Vogue as a contributing editor on a few fabulous stories about the causes that are near and dear to her and it may eventually become a regular column.
“Anna Wintour is also part of the talks and is in discussion about running some or all of the stories in US Vogue.”
It is also believed that the duchess – who celebrated her son, Archie Harrison’s christening over the weekend alongside husband Prince Harry – was encouraged by god friend Amal Clooney.
Although Meghan is set to become the first royal to pen a column for Vogue, she isn’t the first member of the family to be photographed for the prestigious fashion mags cover. Princess Diana, Princess Anne and Kate Middleton have all appeared in the magazine before.
