Samantha Markle, the half-sister of Meghan Markle, has been hospitalised two days before the royal wedding.
Meghan’s outspoken older sister has been hospitalised with a possible broken ankle and fractured knee after a reported confrontation with paparazzi, TMZ reports.
Samantha’s boyfriend, Mark, told the gossip site that “confrontation” occurred when the couple were driving in Florida near a toll booth when the paparazzi “veered in front of them”, trying to take a photo.
Mark says he swerved the car to avoid the photographers but hit a concrete barrier, causing Samantha to hit the car’s windshield before falling to the floor.
He says Samantha, who has MS, was unable to lift herself up and her foot was twisted backward. Mark then drove her to the hospital to be treated.
This news comes just hours after Meghan and Samantha’s father, Thomas, confirmed he had successfully completed heart surgery.
