Much like the rest of Instagram, Miley Cyrus is reflecting back on the past decade as she enters 2020. And while there were plenty of unforgettable moments, the singer also chose to include footage of her now ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.

“Decade Video,” the 27-year-old captioned the post. “10 Years in 10 minutes #NewYearStartsNow.”
Miley made sure to include several montages of her hit musical moments from the past 10 years, however what really got fans talking was the fact that the American singer chose to include a short scene from her 2009 movie The Last Song with Aussie actor, Liam.
Soon after, viewers watched as a reporter announced Liam had proposed to Miley – the pair eventually went on to wed in 2018 during a surprise Nashville ceremony, which was also included in the decade round-up video.
Interestingly, Miley also chose to include a short clip of a news report announcing her split from The Hunger Games star.
The former couple confirmed details of their divorce at the end of 2019, with TMZ reporting that the Wrecking Ball singer and her ex-husband have divided their assets, with Miley’s attorney filing court documents earlier this week.
According to the gossip website, the former couple’s property has been divided and Miley will keep the pets they formerly shared together.
The pair called it quits back in August 2019 after just seven months of marriage, with Hemsworth citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” A rep for Cyrus revealed. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Both Liam and Miley have moved on with new relationships since their split.
Miley is currently dating Australian singer Cody Simpson, while Hemsworth has been linked to Maddison Brown and Gabriella Brooks.
