Perhaps reflecting on the state of her love life, the 26-year-old singer appeared to make a thinly-veiled dig at both Liam and Kaitlyn on Instagram.
The Slide Away singer posted a photo with her dogs on Instagram on Sunday that seemed to compare her two loyal pets with her former lovers
The American star explained that animals “live by the golden rule to love and be loved.
“All they ask is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability and faithfulness. (Reminds me of someone),” she signed off.
Miley and Kaitlynn’s romantic relationship first blossomed in August after photos emerged of the pair engaging in public displays of affection on a vacation in Italy.

According to PEOPLE magazine, a source confirmed the news of their split last week, telling the publication that, “Miley and Kaitlynn broke up” but the former lovers are “still friends.”
The same source claimed that the two found comfort in each other after their respective marriages broke down.
This is the singer’s second major breakup this year, having split with husband Liam Hemsworth in August, after less than a year of marriage.
Kaitlynn split with former husband Brody Jenner the same month.
