A source has confirmed to PEOPLE that the Wrecking Balls singer has left the hospital after vocal cord surgery.

The insider also revealed the 26-year-old will be faced with several weeks of silence as she recovers from the operation.
The singer discovered the issue – which she unknowingly had for years – after suffering tonsillitis last month.
Another source close to Miley revealed she is “doing great and will be back and better than ever early next year.”
Miley’s boyfriend Cody Simpson shared a black a photo on Instagram, with the caption “success.”
