In a stunning photo, Moana tenderly kisses Isabella’s bump, and at 35 weeks the final countdown is on.
“Falling in love with a baby human I’m yet to meet. 35 weeks in person, getting so close. I can’t wait to kiss and hold you 👶🏻,” Moana sweetly captioned the photo.
The post garnered an emotional response from fans and followers.“Omg the happy tears from seeing this,” one person wrote.
“No other feeling! Pure love like you think you know now without them, nothing comes close! Words can’t describe,” remarked another.
Back in September, Moana shared a heartfelt post in response to the questions she and Isabella often face as a same-sex couple about to welcome a child.
“Who is going to be the Dad? We get questions like that often. So I thought I’d use this opportunity to educate,” she began.
“Firstly, who is going to be the Dad… My personal opinion on what makes a parent… it’s not the gender, or who makes the money or who’s [sic] name it is on the birth certificate. It’s someone who loves, protects, and cares for their child. Someone who will never hurt their child. And someone who shows up for their family for the good and challenging times.”
Moana added: “Our baby is going to have 2 loving Parents and those parents happen to be Mums. BOTH of us will love our baby, we will work hard to always put food on the table, we both will make sacrifices for our baby. We will be a partnership, and we will work together to raise our baby the best we know how. I just know our baby will have 2 epic parents and I can’t bloody wait to share motherhood with you.”
The former AFL player and Survivor star and her model wife announced their exciting pregnancy news in May this year.
“We are going to be MUMS,” a delighted Moana captioned a trio of images featuring the couple and their ultrasound picture.
“I don’t yet have the words to fully explain how happy we are. It’s a dream come true for us and in November we get to meet our little person.”
“From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank @monashivf and the team for everything you have done to support us. You have helped make this dream a reality. Holding this in for 13 weeks has been so bloody hard. My heart is exploding.”
In August, Moana and Isabella also celebrated their first wedding anniversary and proved that they were meant to be when they ordered each other flowers from the same florist to be delivered at the exact same time.
“We are ridiculous, I think we’re ridiculous,” the former Survivor contestant laughed.
Moana also snuck in a single rose in the bouquet to signify one year of marriage adding: “One red rose means one year so there should be like 80 of these by the time we’ve finished.”
