During Ibby and Romel’s Instant Restaurant on My Kitchen Rules, a hopeful Amanda tried to play matchmaker for Josh.
While waiting for their main meal to cook, Amanda tells Josh “I sent photos of you to one of my girlfriends last night.”
“She goes, ‘is there any boys you think I would think are good looking’ and I was like, ‘yes, you would think that Josh is good looking’”.
Taken aback by the new information, Josh says “I feel like, that’s really flattering.”
Talking to producers, Karito says, “I really don’t like Josh. I don’t think he’s a good looking man because he’s ugly inside.”
Then, she tells Josh to his face.
“I’d prefer to be married to the ugliest man in the world than having somebody like you who’s so horrible inside,” Karito says.
“But you think I’m good looking?” Josh responds, with Karito snapping: “I don’t think you’re good looking!”
Speaking to WHO, Amanda reveals the real reason she ever said anything in the first place.“I was drunk that night,” she says.
“I pitched the idea to [my girlfriend] but she wasn’t keen. If [Josh] had seen her he would have been keen, but no, she was like, ‘What are you doing this to me for?’ It just came out!”
Amanda admits, “He’s too young for her anyway, I kept forgetting how young they were until they started speaking and then it was obvious”.
Lucky for Amanda’s friend, when we asked Josh – he wasn’t keen either.
“God bless Amanda but no thank you,” he says.
