My Kitchen Rules‘ Amanda Proud may enjoy spending her free time behind the stove, but she’s also a MAJOR fan of none other than reality TV royalty – the Kardashians.
Amanda is so into the family, her Instagram username includes a revamped version of her surname which reads “Proudashian.”
Speaking to WHO, Amanda says her boyfriend Travis doesn’t have the Kardashian-loving streak in common. “My partner hates it. I watch so much of it!” she says.
But when exactly did this obsession begin? “This is sad because it was like a life-changing moment for me but I remember the first time I ever watched an episode,” she recalls.
“I was at a friends house and she had Foxtel. I didn’t know what it was and I watched it and Khloé was getting Lasik eye surgery and she was grabbing a grapefruit and knife and shoving it in there telling Kim what they were going to do to her eye and I was like, “That girl’s hilarious.”‘
However, it wasn’t just their funny antics that enticed Amanda – she resonated with the world’s most famous family’s voluptuous figures.
“I liked it too because they were so curvy and no-one else on reality TV shows was like that. I love that they’re truly themselves. They’re glamorous but when you watch it they’re with their family and they’re normal people everyone can relate to.”
“Everyone has a crazy family! Kris Jenner cries all the time and so does my mum so we used to say that my mum was Kris and Blake is Kim because he’s the drama person and I’m Khloé because I was a bit bigger and I’m a bit of a loud mouth. I love that family!
