Since day one, country couple Mick and Jodie-Anne have always been defenders of villains Josh and Austin.
“We were just trying to take them under our wing,” Jodie-Anne tells WHO.
“We have a fine relationship with those boys. Mick has spoken to the boys to make sure they were ok with getting bad press in social media.”
In fact, Jodie-Anne even went on to reveal that Josh and Austin had suffered mental health issues in the past and that was why she and her husband had softened towards them.
“They did come out at one stage saying they had depression issues,” she says.
“I suffered depression after my first marriage broke down and it’s hard to return from. You never want to go there again.”
However, upon hearing Jodie-Anne’s claims that they suffered mental health issues, the Sydney siblings lashed out in an angry tirade.
“Noooo. Far out,” Austin says.
“They’re just passive-aggressive angry. They were just angry people.”
Josh adds: “There’s no depression in our lives. Sure, we have ups and downs, but you want to know something, we come to God and immediately we feel better. Those people that turn to each other and that’s why they’re quite miserable and retarded.”
