John Dunsworth has died age 71.
The actor, known for his roles on cult Netflix series Trailer Park Boys and supernatural drama series Haven died after suffering from an unknown illness.
His daughter and co-star shared the news on social media.
“With heavy and broken hearts the family of John F. Dunsworth would like to let people know that our amazing husband, father and grandfather John Dunsworth has passed away,” the statement reads.
“John left this world peacefully after a short and unexpected illness. The family would like to request that our privacy is respected in our time of grief.”
Trailer Park Boys has enjoyed multiple seasons and spin-offs, with the 12th season to premiere next year on Netflix. Dunsworth, who played Jim Lahey, appeared in every version of the show.
