Phoebe Burgess has broken her silence on her split with her NRL beau.
The journalist split with Sam Burgess following the birth of their second child.
Speaking to Stellar magazine, she says: ‘We are together, we are married.’
‘Sam and I will have good days and we’ll have trying days,’ she said, adding: ‘Every single person on this planet who is married knows it isn’t perfect. It’s never going to be perfect.’
Phoebe goes on to say that the details of their split and reconciliation ‘will always and forever just be between Sam and I’.
Phoebe also claims her instincts told her: ‘I’ll protect my family, I’ll protect my husband.’
In the end she believes ‘love conquers all’.
