The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, is reportedly expecting her second child. The 37-year-old, who shares Arthur, two, with her husband James Matthews, is said to be “thrilled” about the news.
“Pippa and James are thrilled, it’s fantastic news amid a difficult year,” a source told Page Six.

A close friend is believed to have spilled the news of the pregnancy, adding that “the entire family is delighted” to hear another baby is on the way.
The new addition will be another cousin for sister Kate Middleton and Prince William’s three children: Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and two-year-old Prince Louis.
Pippa kept her fans in the loop in the lead up to her first labour in October 2018, penning a regular column for Waitrose magazine about her healthy habits.
“As the final month nears and the bump grows prouder each day, movement is certainly getting more awkward,” Pippa wrote at the time. “As a result, one of the biggest changes is that my lower body has tightened up.”
“I signed up to a beginners’ meditation class recently to master the tools essential for performing it effectively.”
Pippa explained that this involved sitting upright twice a day, “ideally for 20 minutes” while “chanting a mantra…eyes closed and focused.”
This idea of the “meditation window” is to take your mind and body into a state of “pure rest,” she continued. “Most importantly, it allows an opportunity to restore and nourish both mind and body.”
Pippa also shared that she’d been keeping active with Barre classes.
“[It’s] a form of exercise taken from ballet which involves the small, isolated movements that develop flattering muscle tone or so I hope,” she said, adding that she also liked swimming because it offers “a wonderful feeling of weightlessness.”
“From personal experience, I’d confidently say I find it has been the most enjoyable and rewarding form of exercise since I found out I was expecting.”
Pippa followed her elder sister’s lead by giving birth to Arthur at London’s Lindo Wing. She’s tipped to choose the Lindo Wing the second time around, considering that she and James currently reside in London.
According to Page Six, the pair are looking to purchase a 72-acre country estate in Berkshire to be closer to Pippa’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
Currently a tourist attraction, Bucklebury Farm estimated at $2.65 million and is situated about 90 minutes west of London.
Pippa married hedge fund manager James in 2017. A former race car driver, he was appointed the director of the Williams Formula One racing team earlier this year.
