Pop star Bonnie Anderson has taken to Instagram to announce that she has been cast as a new character on iconic Australian TV show, Neighbours.
“FINALLY!!! I can talk about what I have been up to all year. I’ve had to keep a secret for quite some time and I am beyond excited to announce, I have joined the cast of the iconic Australian tv show @neighbours,” she began her caption.
Before confirming that she will be playing a character named ‘Bea Nillson’, the younger sister ‘Elly’, played by Jodi Gordan and the niece of ‘Susan Kennedy’, played by Jackie Woodburne.
“I am so lucky to be working with such amazing people. I love you all! This is my first acting job and I am very grateful for this opportunity,” Anderson wrote.

Anderson makes her debut on May 18, on ELEVEN at 6.30pm.
