Popular ’90s show ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’ is set to return to TV in a reboot

Calling all nostalgic ’90s babies!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the renowned young-adult book series “is being packaged for the 2018 marketplace as a timely story of female friendship, entrepreneurialism and empowerment.”

The TV show will be based on the original four members  Kristy (founder and president), Mary Anne (secretary), Claudia (vice-president), and Stacey (treasurer), all created by author Ann M. Martin who wrote a total of 35 books in the series. 

Eager fans will remember there was an earlier Baby-Sitters Club TV series from publishing house Scholastic which aired in the early ’90s on HBO. Plus there was There was also aBaby-Sitters Club movie in 1995.
