Bringing a new spin on ‘A,’ a stellar new cast, and a homage to our favourite slasher movie trends, the show, debuting in 2022, offered a modern take on horror TV. Now, as summer approaches, the PLL girls are back for a thrilling second season at summer school.

“In season one the girls don’t know each other, they were complete strangers…and I think there’s a lot more levity and a lot more sisterhood in this season,” Malia Pyles who plays Mouse tells WHO ahead of season two. “Expect the unexpected,” Bailee Madison who stars as Imogen, adds, agreeing that the friendship of season two shifts the dynamics of the group.

With the terrifying Bloody Rose terrorising our final girls, the return of the franchise’s psychiatrist Dr. Anne Sullivan and a healthy dose of teen drama – here’s everything you need to know about Pretty Little Liars: Summer School.

Elias Kacavas and Jordan Gonzalez, have also been promoted to series regulars and Annabeth Gish, who played Dr. Sullivan in the original Pretty Little Liars series, is reprising her role.

“It’s a privilege to be around these girls,” Annabeth tells WHO. “They are such a blast.”

“I was really excited to bridge the original show to now, and yet they are so different. There is a distinct tone to this iteration. It’s all a little bit amplified and saturated…the colour, the tone, the music, the trauma, the stakes – but man is it fun.”

Antonio Cipriano, Ava Capri, Noah Alexander Gerry, and Loretta Ables Sayre are also joining the cast for season two.
