A new report has revealed that the royal five-year-old has charmed supermarket employees by offering to help carry grocery deliveries into the family’s home in Norfolk.
“It is rare for anyone to ever offer to carry deliveries inside,” an insider told The Sun following a surprise meeting with Prince George.
“So the Waitrose delivery staff were surprised and delighted to be greeted regularly by Prince William and Prince George.”
This isn’t the first time the Cambridge’s have proved their love for British supermarket chain, Waitrose. Kate has been spotted on numerous occasions doing her weekly shop – even bringing her own carrier bags along with her.
The source noted that George “is the one who asks each time what he can carry for them.
“He is a very inquisitive child,” they added.
“They give him lighter bags. It shows how down-to-earth William is and that he wants his son to grow up being polite and helpful to others.”
And George is clearly growing up to be a polite little boy. During the family’s recent visit Kate’s Back to Nature garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, George was asked by William what he would rate his mum’s garden out of ten, to which he adorably replied: “Twenty.”
