The Invictus Games gods have granted you a dream you never knew you had: Prince Harry in a pair of budgie smugglers.
Step aside Tony Abbott, because Harry is officially the king of rocking the iconic Australia men’s swimming costume.
The Duke of Sussex decided to don a pair of tight swimming trunks over his jeans.
They were presented to him when Dylan Alcott and two members of the Australian Invictus Games team – Matt Model and Nikki Bradley – visited him at Admiralty House, the Governor General’s residence where the couple are staying in Sydney.
Alcott, who is a triple Paralympic gold medallist in wheelchair tennis and wheelchair basketball, said: “We gave him a gift. One of the athletes, Matt, gave him a pair of budgie smugglers. And he put them on, over his jeans. It looks awesome.
“He said: ‘Shall I put them on?’. We said: ‘One hundred per cent’. So he put them on. Good on him.”
Alcott shared the experience on Instagram.
“When you gift the Duke of Sussex a pair of budgie smugglers and the great man puts them on,” he shard alongside a snippet from the moment.
The Aussie athlete continued, “Can’t thank @kensingtonroyal enough for the opportunity, the Duke was super giving, it was one of my most favourite conversations I’ve ever had.”
“Shoutout to Matt Model and Nikki Bradley for doing such a bloody good job!”
