It has been an absolute whirlwind for Princess Eugenie, who married her prince charming Jack Brooksbank in a romantic royal wedding.
It’s now been revealed that the royal, who had spent the weekend celebrating her new marriage, opted for a third wedding outfit.
The newlywed royal’s third choice was a far cry from her Peter Pilotto wedding gown and Zac Posen designed evening dress.
For the festival-themed celebrations at her family home on Saturday 13 October, she opted for a bespoke white mini dress and silk pink biker jacket designed by designer Sam Dougal, creative director and co-founder at Gainsbourg.
The words “Mrs Brooksbank” were embroidered on the back.
“The look is an exciting and unusual one for a royal wedding, and had to go with the feel of the day,” Dougal told Harper’s Bazaar.
“The three of us [Eugenie’s stylist Sarah Price] worked on possible ideas and directions and decided to go with a young and super fun aesthetic. Much like Eugenie, the look is totally unique, and full of fun. It’s a simple party dress with a modern jacket.”
