Princess Eugenie has made a very special announcement on Instagram!
The 29-year-old is fast becoming one of the most environmentally-conscious members of the royal family, and on Tuesday, the princess used her social media platform to encourage her followers to go reduce their plastic consumption to mark Plastic Free July.

Sharing a picture of herself with the Project Zero team – an environmental charity that protects marine life – Eugenie spoke passionately about the cause.
“This month of July is Plastic Free July. As an Ambassador of Project Zero, I’ve been working to raise awareness of the consequences of single-use plastic,” she wrote.
“I’m committed to ending my use of it and to do my part to clean up our beautiful world and oceans. I hope we can all do the same. What a joy to work with such a dedicated team @weareprojectzero#passonplastic.”
Princes Eugenie famously made her October 2018 royal wedding to Jack Brooksbank a plastic-free occasion, telling British Vogue at the time, “My whole house is anti-plastic now, and Jack and I want our wedding to be like that as well.”
