She married long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank last October, so it’s no surprise that the rumour mill surrounding whether Princess Eugenie will announce a pregnancy this year is going into overdrive.
The newlyweds have kept a low profile since their big day.
However Eugenie has been teasing fans with ‘exciting news’.
The princess started of the new year by sharing a photo on her Instagram, promising 2019 would be “exciting” as she shared a throwback picture from her engagement.
On January 22, the 28-year-old posted: “#tbt to exactly this day last year – Jack and I announced our engagement. What a year it’s been since then and how exciting for 2019.”
One of Eugenie’s follower replied: “Now all there needs to be is a pregnancy announcement.”
While another said: “I hope this exciting 2019 means a baby is on the way!”
And now a major clue has surfaced, following the pregnancy claims made by royal watchers.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes have recently slashed the odds on Princess Eugenie making a baby announcement this year.
The odds are now only at 1/4 for a pregnancy announcement as soon as this year.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It looks like the royals are getting broody.
“With Meghan’s first on the way and Kate’s odds of baby number four continuing to tumble, we’ve once again cut odds on Eugenie announcing a pregnancy.”
