She’s been keeping her fans updated with her weight loss journey for almost a year but on Wednesday, Rebel Wilson shared some more personal news with her fans.
Taking to Instagram, the Pitch Perfect star, 40, revealed that she and her boyfriend Jacob Busch are no longer together whilst flaunting her svelte figure in a denim dress and yellow cardigan.
“Lots on my mind…aghhhhhh…#single-girl-heading-to-Super-Bowl!” she captioned the snap.
Whilst the vast majority of the comments focused on Rebel’s weight loss, some fans shared their sympathies with the actress.
“Single girl??? I hope that doesn’t mean you broke up with the hot guy you were seeing, you look absolutely amazing so beautiful x,” one wrote.
“Sounds like it’s time for some restorative alone time. Hang in there, Rebel,” penned another.
“You may have a lot on your mind, but you look fabulous and glow! Blue and yellow look so great on you! Hope your day gets better and friends spoil you!” a third remarked.
Rebel and Jacob, who’s worth around US$100 million and whose family are the founders of the Anheuser-Busch brewing dynasty, first went Instagram official in September. Along with fellow Hollywood stars Helen Mirren and Kate Beckinsale, they attended the Planetary Health Gala in Monaco as well as a private dinner with Prince Albert.
According to PEOPLE, Rebel and Jacob were introduced by a friend in 2019 and struck up a romance while Rebel was in Australia and Jacob was across the seas in LA during quarantine. After Rebel landed back in the US, the couple reunited in California.
“They are officially boyfriend and girlfriend,” a source told the publication in September.
“He’s a gentleman, has very old school manners and treats her well. He is also very health conscious and they’ve been motivating each other with their health journeys.”
She may be single but Rebel has formed an unlikely pairing with SAS Australia‘s Ant Middleton on reality show, Ant Middleton & Rebel Wilson: Straight Talking.
The show, which was filmed in November and has now aired in the UK, followed the duo as they travelled around Mexico with only a 4×4 and their personal backpacks.
After Rebel shared a photo with Ant from their adventure, the former army man replied: “What a warrior and joy you are! Now long now 😘 x.”
