She found herself at the top of the Hollywood career ladder in her 30’s – starring in blockbuster films such as Bridget Jones’ Diary, Cold Mountain and Chicago, however, Rene Zellweger has made the astonishing admission that she remembers little of that time period.
“I don’t remember most of my 30s,” came the Oscar-winning actresses frank revelation on CBS Sunday Morning.

“Sounds like a joke, but it’s true. It just feels compressed.”
The now 50-year-old star’s admission is somewhat surprising, given that at age 34, she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Cold Mountain.
“It feels like it just happened like that,” Zellweger, snapping her fingers, said on CBS. “I didn’t want that to happen again … and then I started to repeat myself, and I’m tired of myself.”
This isn’t the first time the Hollywood star – who is currently on the promotional tail for her upcoming role as Judy Garland in the biopic Judy – has admitted to blanking out whole periods of her life.
Rene famously admitted that she “forgot” about her short-lived four-month marriage to ex-husband Kenny Chesney.
“I forgot about that,” she told The Advocate in 2016. “It’s a pretty big thing to forget, isn’t it?”
The actress also recently opened up to Vulture on her thoughts about marrying a gay man.
“‘Cute’s cute,’ she says. ‘Handsome is handsome! Sweet is sweet. If it works… I mean… I mean! Sometimes it just doesn’t really matter. It just didn’t. If there’s a spark, it just is, and who needs to explain it?”
