Queen Elizabeth II has finally meet her new great-grandson, Prince Louis, a week after he was born.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, Prince Louis of Cambridge, on April 23 and the monarch finally got a chance to met him on Monday April 30.

Queen Elizabeth, 92, travelled in style to meet the newborn, arriving at Kensington Palace via helicopter and was photographed carrying a bouquet of yellow flowers (a gift for the new parents?).

Prince Louis Arthur Charles was born at the private maternity unit of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington on Monday, April 23, at 11.01am, weighing 8lb., 7oz.
