“I’m here to finish what I started,” says Trinity, whose fashion has evolved from “pageant-y and gaudy” to “edgier and more fun”. She’s even evoking divine intervention from her nun persona Sister Mary Koont: “She blessed me.”

Her AS 4 mood board includes Swarovski crystals, pink, tears and a distinct resistance to the “whiny, obnoxious” persona she took on during her first season. “I was so young and naive, [but] I definitely came for blood this season.” As for her relationship with Valentina, Farrah says things are “pretty good” despite feeling like her Season 9 sister “will never love” her. “There’s too much love for herself there.”

Valentina (Season 9, 7th place)

The woman behind the mask-that-wouldn’t- come-off admits her “iconic elimination” provided “the perfect arc to continue” into All Stars. “If I lip-synch again, I’m going to have to redeem myself,” says Valentina, who says she’s on a “different maturity level” this season.

Monique Heart (Season 10, 8th place)

The “facts are facts” queen is poised to shake up the show’s vocabulary again. “[This season] it’s ‘the goop,’” says Monique, who promises she’ll wear “other animals” in addition to “a few brown- cow-stunning moments”.

Jasmine Masters (Season 7, 12th place)

We get a lot of ‘jush’ in there,” Jasmine Masters says, evoking her all-purpose catchphrase to describe All Stars 4. The meme queen also anticipates her “funny” personality will inspire more internet gold: “Whatever [fans] make a meme out of, I’ll love them.”

Naomi Smalls (Season 8, 2nd place)

The most sickening legs to grace the main stage are clicking back with
a more assured glamazon in control. “I have a better understanding of how to play the game,” Naomi states. “If it was about turning looks, bitch, I would’ve gotten the crown a long time ago.” She also promises “good drama”. “Everyone in the cast – besides Farrah Moan – is pretty realistic about life, [but] there are definitely some big egos, and I’m one of them.”

Gia Gunn (Season 6, 10th place)

Gia Gunn’s first Drag Race experience led to a creative rebirth and allowed her to embrace her identity as a trans woman. “I’m more comfortable with my body,” she says. “If I hadn’t gone through my transition, I don’t think I would have been ready to come back.

Manila Luzon (Season 3 and All Stars 1, 2nd place)

“Drag has changed so much,” the O-est OG of the all-stars says of the “new challenge” she’s facing returning to Drag Race. “It’s growing up and learning new things and applying that to the competition,” Manila says. “It’s nice to come back and show what I’m capable of after I’ve had the opportunity to become
a drag superstar.”

Latrice Royale (Season 4 and All Stars 1, 4th place)

The grandest Drag Race dame wants the lip-synch shenanigans to stop. “Looking like you’re in
a refrigerator box with shoulder pads out to here? There’s no mystery that you’re going to take that off for a reveal,” says Latrice Royale. “Get back to basics.”
