They starred together 20-years ago in the now cult classic Cruel Intentions, and Sarah Michelle Gellar took Selma Blair down memory lane ahead of her co-star’s 47th birthday.

“I may not be able to spend your birthday with you, but that won’t stop me from sending kisses 💋 💋💋 Happy Birthday @selmablair,” she captioned an image of the pair sharing THAT iconic kiss from the teen movie.
In the film – which also starred former spouses Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe – Gellar’s conniving character, Kathryn offers to teach Blair’s naive Cecile how to French kiss.
“Selma tries to get rid of me, but I have the keys to her house, so she’s stuck with me,” Gellar joked to EW during the 20th anniversary celebrations of the film.
“Sean Patrick Thomas and I, we’re also really good friends. Reese, our sons are really good friends, they went to school together until recently. And I just spoke to Ryan for the first time in a while! So, like I said, I’m proud.”
Sarah Michelle and Selma have become even closer in the last year after Selma went public with her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.
