Home and Away star Stephen Peacock: “I’m coming back!”

He’s made the leap from the small screen to the big screen, but viewers still think of Stephen Peacocke affectionately as Home and Away’s resident bad boy Darryl Braxton.

And luckily, we’re getting the chance to see the 37-year-old LA based actor light up our screens again with his return to Australian TV, playing Ben in Ten’s new series Five Bedrooms.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph about his new role, which sees his character get involved with  50-year-old single mother, Heather, the much-loved star said: ‘I guess I was (surprised when I saw Ben and Heather get together) it’s not something you see all the time.’

‘There’s this perception people want all this fake stuff all the time, but I think people actually just want natural.’

‘And I think it’s a really cool thing that the writers threw that in, that’s what a lot of people might like about the relationship, I think.’ 

Stephen, who married his long-term girlfriend Bridgette Sneddon in 2015 has been living in Los Angeles for the past five years, securing roles in films such as Danger Close: The Battle Of Long Tan with Vikings star Travis Fimmel and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot with Tina Fey and Margot Robbie. The Aussie actor is also set to star in new TV show Les Norton.
