Sunrise host David Koch launched a shock attack on celebrity Labor supporters who had taken to Twitter following the disappointing election results on Saturday.
Speaking live on-air this morning, Kochie said that those complaining should ‘move to New Zealand and stop whining.
“One thing I am hating on social media is all the people bagging the Australian voters for making the decision,” he said.
“Get a grip. People wanting to move to New Zealand, well go to New Zealand.

Author and comedian Meshel Laurie called Australians “dumb, mean-spirited and greedy” in the wake of the result, which saw Opposition Leader Bill Shorten concede defeat on Saturday night and step down as leader of the Labor Party.
