Comedian Tahir Bilgic showed off an emotional side on a Jan. 23 episode of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
While on the campsite with fellow campmate Luke Jacobsz, Tahir discussed losing his father after he’d stuffered multiple strokes.
“It’s still pretty raw… I lost my dad about six months ago, yeah it was a stroke,” he Began.
“It was going on for about three years, [he had] dementia and a stroke. It was really tough,” he continued.
“If you’ve got your parents around, tell them what you want now. Say what you want to say,” Tahir advised.
Former TV host Luke was all ears for his newfound friend and was there to support him during a heartbreaking moment of reflection.
“Mum gets all the attention now,” the comedian deadpanned.
“He was a bit of a risk taker, he would have done this for sure,” Tahir said of his father.
“I’ve been okay, I don’t want to talk about it more,” he said.
Luke, who also recently lost his father went on to tell Tahir that he’s happy to be a sounding board in future.”If you wake up and its 4am in the morning we can come down here and have a chat.”
