Married At First Sight faves Telv Williams has taken to his Instagram to shut down rumours that he was involved in a violent street brawl which resulted in an assault charge in 2002.
The 33-year-old shared a photo of the article which was published by an Australian online publication and commented: “Check your facts… I’ve never pleaded guilty to any such offence.”
“The truth is I was 18 and was defending myself from a grown man who was trying to assault me. Also, there was no good behaviour bond.”
The father-of-two rose to fame on the most recent series of Married At First Sight.
Following the show, he and partner Sarah Roza have both gone on to find respective lovers outside of the reality TV production.
Telv is currently dating Melbourne-based blonde, Maddie Carolan
While Sarah is in a relationship with a fellow Melbournite, James Stephens.
