The Bachelor Australia has delivered up spades of drama.

And it’s only the second episode.

Matt Agnew gave his first rose (and we think heart) to Elly.

Watch the moment he properly falls in love with her!

The 24-year-old, who holds the golden ticket, is clearly a real contender…

But it turns out she has more competition.

Sogand is sitting in a pretty spot after she scored the first date… AND KISS.

But that’s not enough

Matt Agnew still hasn’t met all the girls vying for his heart.

The Bachelor Australia is bringing in 8 intruders.

And it seems like the girls are not happy!

Elly lays some hard truths: “So, at this point, there’s definitely a bit of anxiety and stress in the air. We’re all starting to realise that we’re gonna be watching these new girls walk in and meet Matt for the first time. It’s gonna be like the worst movie we’ve ever seen. It’s a horror story.”

Meanwhile, Matt is stressed.

“I’m stood on the new red carpet. I’m about to meet all eight new women.I don’t know who’s in the most precarious position. The new girls coming in, the original girls watching on, or myself kind of in the middle of all of this. “

She’s bubbly, self deprecating and sarcastic, but Nikki says there are a couple of traits that might make Matt Agnew run in the other direction!

“Aside from my man voice, maybe my dodgy fake tan when it is due for a revamp and I look like a tiger loaf that has been sitting on a Woolworths shelf for 45 years.”
