From the get go, Angie Kent appeared smitten with bald hottie Ryan Anderson, and according to New Idea, the pair had already met before the show.
Well, that certainly explains their chemistry!
A source told the mag that Angie had started following Ryan’s dog rescue account on Instagram prior to the two even meeting.
Not only that, friends of Ryan tell New Idea that he has been obsessed with the former Gogglebox star for a long time.
“Word is they eventually met up in person a few times but nothing serious ever happened as they lived in different states,” soiled the source.
And this is where things get interesting.
According to the mag, there are now-deleted messages between Angie’s BFF Yvie Jones and Ryan before he walked into the mansion.
“Yvie saw him comment on her Instagram that he wanted to apply and immediately encouraged it,” the source said.
“Yvie knew how much of a fan Angie was of his and had witnessed their connection in real life, so she was ecstatic that he was thinking of applying. Yvie just adores him and so does Angie!”
In fact, the insider spills that it was Angie who requested that Ryan be introduced as an intruder on the show.
“That’s why he came in late – to give him a better chance of developing a relationship with her,” the source says.
“Producers tried to sweep the whole thing under the rug, but Angie and Ryan weren’t very good at downplaying their history.”
“They tried to brush it off, but the boys pressed them for information and Ryan finally admitted that they’d spoken on Instagram!”
