However, it looks as though Grant Denyer may have dropped a major clue about the identity of the Dragon after it was recently revealed he has been taking weekly singing lessons.

“I like music. I play guitar and I play the drums. I love the art of singing, it is the most incredible craft and it is so impressive when you watch someone that can do it well,” Grant told The Daily Telegraph.

The clues we know so far about the Dragon include the fact the audience was hearing him “like never before” in his mask and that he has “roamed this country for many years.”

He also says he has been in trouble with the law.

Yellow banners with black swans were in the background of his performance, and one of his bodyguards was wearing a t-shirt with a Rottweiler on it.

In addition, the Dragon said he has always loved to sing but it isn’t how he made his living.

“I have had wins on tracks all over the country,” he said.

And all those clues apparently point to Grant, according to Twitter users.

However, before you get too excited, Grant dismissed claims he was on the bizarre singing contest, telling The Daily Telegraph: “I probably wouldn’t have told you I’m doing singing lessons if I was on The Masked Singer.

“I have been getting text messages from family and friends like crazy asking if it is me and these are the closest people to me so clearly everyone is swept up in the hysteria.

“There’s a few clues kicking around that point in my direction so make of it what you will.

“I like television that is a bit mad and this is a lot mad.”
