Introducing the Tacro – a hybrid between a taco and a croissant

For those who lined up for hours at trendy cafés and hashtagged “cronut” until you got RSI, this one is for you.

A San Francisco based bakery has married two of our favourite things, a taco and the croissant  –  resulting in a new trend practically called the “Tacro”.

According to BuzzFeed, the Belgian café owners from Viva La Tarte have curated the delish new dish and are selling it for $12 US dollars per piece.

The delightful French pastries include savoury fillings of pulled pork & pineapple; chicken & avocado and jackfruit BBQ. 

Taco-to-ya-later, we’re off to San Francisco!
