The “Love Yourself” singer was feeling the love from an audience in Saskatoon, Canada when he failed to notice an open trapped door in his path. He quickly disappeared through the hole, falling several feet into the floor below. Though a cool trick for a magician, it wasn’t the smoothest exit for a pop star.
Despite the obvious hurt, Bieber did his best to brush off this crushing defeat against gravity. “Good thing I’m like a cat and landed on my feet,” he told the crowd. “That scared the f— outta me.” Aside from wounded pride, it appears he suffered no serious injuries. The scary moment was captured on video and soon flooded social media.
It’s been a rough few weeks for the 22-year-old star. Last Wednesday he was involved in a fistfight outside of a Cleveland hotel, and in mid May he cancelled all concert meet-and-greets following an incident with a fan in Boston. And let’s not forget this brutal wipe-out during a concert in April.
With his behavior becoming more erratic, some close to Bieber worry that his Purpose World Tour may be pushing him towards a nervous breakdown. “Two months into it, and he already feels beat,” an insider told WHO. “He’s not losing it, though. He’s just trying to find ways to focus.”
