When you’re the Queen of England you can do and say whatever the hell you like – as proven by Her Majesty during a public outing yesterday.

And we are LIVING for this video (see below) of the Queen getting seriously sassy with her lady-in-waiting.

The 93-year-old monarch paid a visit to the National Institute of Agricultural Botany near Cambridge to celebrate 100 years of crop research on Tuesday.

When asked if she would like to help plant a tree, the Queen ordered her lady-in-waiting to hold her trusty black Launer handbag, asking: “Can you take that? I can’t do both.”

The NIAB’s chief executive Dr Tina Barsby said the plan had been for the Queen to supervise the tree planting, but she surprised everyone when she “gave her bag to someone to hold, and said ‘I’m still perfectly capable of planting a tree’ and she put the soil in herself”, BBC reports.

The Queen’s trip to Cambridge marks her first appearance since her great-grandson, Archie’s christening, for which she was unable to attend due to prior commitments in Scotland with her children Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

A report earlier this week claimed the Queen’s absence was due to a “diary mix” between herself and Prince William and Meghan Markle.
