Sophie Monk reveals surprise secret about her past
We all know that Sophie Monk has starred in several movies, but did you know she was an award winner?
While the Aussie beauty has sadly never managed to get her hands on an Oscar, there is another, very special gong that was bestowed up on her.
During an appearance on Talkin' About Your Generation on Wednesday, the 39-year-old revealed she once won an award for 'Hottest Naked Chick' in a DVD - low-budget horror film The Hills Run Red.
'I just remember my agent ringing me and going, "You won an award: The Hottest Naked Chick in a DVD'," said Sophie.
'I was like, "It's not even a real film." It went straight to DVD.'
In The Hills Run Red, released in 2009, a group of young horror buffs go on the hunt for a film that mysteriously vanished and end up coming face to face with the movie's demented star - who is a killer in real life.
Speaking to Fitzy and Wippa last year, Sophie also revealed she turned down the role of Jade in the Hollywood blockbuster The Hangover to star in the horror movie.
‘This movie I passed up The Hangover for, which was not genius at all, that move,'’ she said.
It really wasn’t!
The Hills Run Red screened at the Seattle Film Festival on on June 12, 2009, and was released to DVD just three months later.
