Who was eliminated from The Voice Australia 2023
The Bushwackers
As Jess Mauboy struggled to choose between Ezra Williams and The Bushwackers, one team made the shocking decision to exit the competition early.
“I think we can make this easier for you," shared Bushwackers member Dobe Newton. "This show and the challenges to come – we think – are about people just beginning on their career journey, so Roger and I have decided that you need Ezra in your Battle team.”
Jade Talbot
Jason Derulo striggled to make his decisions on the first night of callbacks choosing to send Alex, Callum and Calista to The Battles. Unfortunately for Jade Talbot, the callbacks marked the end of her journey on The Voice Australia.

Etienne Steven
In the first quarter-final battle between Team Jason and Team Guy, Etienne took to the stage to sing her way to a place in the semi-final.
Performing her rendition of Lizzy McAlpine's Ceilings, Etienne dazzled the audience however, her performance was sadly not enough to secure her place in the next stage of the competition.
Andrew Taylor Knight and Alex Jeans
Opera singer Andrew Taylor Knight and rock aficionado Alex Jeans took to the stage alongside Callum Warrender, with the trio performing a sensational rendition of You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban.
Following their performance, coach Jason Derulo proposed that the trio bond together to become a Team Jason supergroup and progress to the semi-final together.
In a shocking decision, the trio declined the offer to progress as a group, with Callum telling Derulo, "We believe in ourselves, we believe in our artistry enough separately that one of us still deserves a spot in that semi-final."
Following the announcement, Derulo made the tough decision to send only Callum through to the next round, with Andrew and Alex sadly being sent home.
Calista Nelmes
Following her on-stage battle with fellow Team Jason contestant Maree, Calista's performance of Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato's Fall in Line was unfortunately not enough to earn her a place in the semi-finals.
Marley Sola
During the final 'sing for your life' segment, Team Guy stars Marley Sola and Bella Mackenzie battled it out for a place in the semi-final.
Following their sensational performance, Guy Sebastian had to make the difficult decision of who to send through to the next round of the competition.
"The thing that is guiding my gut is really about who I can help the most," said Guy, who granted Bella with a place in semi-final.
Robbie Hunt
In an emotional duet, Team Guy's Robbie Hunt and Charlie Pittman earned a standing ovation from the audience for their performance of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars.
While both singers delivered an expert performance, Guy decided that Charlie was "someone who legitimately, I see, will be a stayer and have some level of industry success," and Robbie was sadly sent home.
Elly Poletti
While both Elly and Marley showcased their powerhouse vocals during their performance of Bonnie Raitt's I Can't Make You Love Me, both performers were sadly sent home by the end of the quarter-finals.
Elsa Marilyn

“Both of you are just ready, but I can only take one…I’m sorry now because you both deserve it,” Rita explained before awarding Tarryn a Semi-Final ticket.
Levi X
The fourth artist to be eliminated by Rita on the night was Levi X.
Giaan Jordan
Despite momentarily forgetting the words to her sing, Giaan Jordan was praised by the judges for continuing her Battle. After being eliminated, the young star told mentor Jess, “I really looked up to you as a little girl. I would see you on my TV, you’d make me feel better about myself. You’ve taught me so much. I’m so grateful to have met you.”
Shyjana
Shyjana competed against fellow contestant Ezra William for a spot in the Semi-Final, but in the end, Jess took “soul sister” Ezra William, an “artist that has given their all, risen to the occasion and left nothing behind.”
