“The first two week of the show were like fine because I was portrayed as funny and then suddenly i turned into this demon,” said Abbie.
She then went on to discuss a threat she received via social media.
“I remember one of the first ones that i got that was really violent. Someone wrote this huge paragraph about how i’m a dirty sl*t”
She continued: “And at the end it was like don’t come to Melbourne, if i ever see you i will knock you out.
I literally started sobbing at my desk and I was like this is f*cking scary”.
Abbie recently came out in support of newly single Chelsie McLeod who split with Matt Agnew.
The 24-year-old— who was left heartbroken after failing to receive Matt’s final rose— defended her reality TV rival, hinting infidelity really did spell the end of Chelsie’s short-lived romance with the astrophysicist.
Taking to her Instagram story, Abbie shared a shady meme showing Kylie Jenner holding a cocktail with the caption, “Remember, you’re not the only he’s texting.”
“Hey! This is completely false,” she wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a screenshot of the magazine’s article.“Stop writing sh*t like this and driving forward the narrative that I’m a ‘homewrecker’ or a ‘man stealer’ because it makes people click and hate me more. 🙂 thanks.”
“He wanted to choose no-one, but obviously it was in his contract that he had to choose someone, so producers pushed him to pick Chelsie because she was the safe bet,” the source dished. “If it happened two years in a row, the whole franchise would be done.”
As per the insider, Matt was forced by producers to give scientist Chelsie the final rose, promising to stay with her until The Bachelor finale played out on our screens.
“If they announced their split during Angie’s season, it would have put a bad taste in viewers’ mouths and could have impacted the ratings. So, he was made to keep the act up and do the required media rounds with Chelsie until Angie’s season had finished airing.”
